Job summary

The University of Kansas seeks an Associate Director for Rate Analysis & Compliance to lead service center and core lab rate setting. You will supervise staff calculating rates to ensure compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 and related policies, partnering with finance and department leadership to ensure sustainability and audit readiness.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's with required years of experience in financial analysis, cost analysis or related fields.
Knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and federal cost principles.

Responsibilities

Direct rate model development, review and approval for service centers and core labs.
Ensure rates reflect allowable costs and break-even over time.
Oversee surpluses/deficits and adjust rates per 2 CFR 200.468 and policy.
Create tools, templates, guides and checklists for rate development.
Provide guidance on new proposals, rate changes and risks.
