PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Specialty Provider Liaison (RN) to educate healthcare providers on prior authorization criteria and align documentation with plan requirements. This full-time role emphasizes timely authorizations, patient adherence, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with 1–3 years of community health experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1-3 years of direct patient care in community health setting.
• Strong organizational skills and a thorough knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals.

Responsabilidades

• Educates health care providers regarding prior authorization criteria for prescribed therapies.
• Assesses clinical documentation and assists providers to align with plan criteria.
• Initiates increases patient adherence and optimizes patient care.
• Maintains broad understanding of assigned disease states, products, and clinical programs.
• Collaborates with program teams and external stakeholders.
• Documents cases accurately using call management software.
• Exhibits sound judgment to make independent clinical decisions.
• Fosters teamwork and collaboration across the organization.
• Provides superior customer service to internal/external clients and patients.
• Assumes accountability for professional practice in achieving patient outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
