Job summary

Syneos Health in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a new Rare Disease GI/Hepatology team to drive growth and healthcare outcomes. You will lead territory strategy, build key physician relationships, and deliver clinically focused, data-driven presentations that demonstrate therapeutic value.

The role emphasizes collaboration across FRMs, Medical, Marketing and Operations, with accountability for achieving sales goals and compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory preferred.
• Experience launching products in competitive marketplace.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate it effectively.
• Self-motivated with high autonomy.
• Strong technical & analytical skills including CRM and MS Office; proficiency with AI.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales goals in the assigned territory by executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians.
• Navigate a complex matrixed selling environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify key influencers and manage customer interactions with top targets.
• Use data tools/insights to guide business decisions and action plans.
• Demonstrate account-based selling with presentations to groups.
• Plan activities to ensure regular territory coverage and meet action plans.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing efforts.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Support DSE/brand strategy within the geographic area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
