SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Engineer (Raptor Flight) to drive hardware from concept to flight and back, overlapping development and flight operations with a focus on reliability and safety. You will lead cross-disciplinary collaboration across propulsion, structure, testing, software, and avionics to ensure robust engine performance in flight and ground testing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with pressurized fluid systems.
• 1+ years of experience in hardware design, manufacture, assembly, test and/or flight.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with Starship propulsion systems.
• Familiarity with basic concepts of control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, analysis, development engineering, and flight operations tasks for Raptor engine propulsion systems.
• Align resources to accomplish key objectives and set high performance standards.
• Enable high launch cadence with automated analysis of test and flight data.
