Job summary

SpaceX in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Propulsion Technician (Raptor Flight) on the 2nd shift to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain flight and development engines, and to support test stands and tooling.

You will read drawings, follow work instructions, travel to sites, and work with engineers to improve processes while maintaining a safe, clean environment. A high school diploma and 2+ years of mechanical systems experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years experience with mechanical systems and high-pressure/fluid/pneumatic systems.
• 1+ years in engine testing or integration.
• 1+ years experience with basic electrical test instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain flight and development engines.
• Stage, set up, assemble, test, and install hardware.
• Read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
• Ability to travel frequently to different sites to support engine operations.
• Prepare engine/test articles, stands, and systems for operations.
• Ensure equipment is safe, on time, and properly serviced.
