Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Rapid Integration Engineer to help accelerate prototyping for autonomous systems. You will lead the integration of hardware and software onto unmanned vehicles and work with cross-functional teams to quickly translate concepts into early-stage products.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in aerodynamics, flight performance, GNC, and experience with ArduPilot, 3D printing, and rapid prototyping, with the ability to document processes and communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with open source autopilot systems and ArduPilot stack.
• Willingness to travel for project planning, testing, and execution.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, laser cutting, and composites.
• Proficient RC pilot with VTOL and fixed-wing UAS experience.
• Knowledge of UAS regulations.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• UK SC clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, construction, and testing of UAS prototypes.
• Integrate hardware onto unmanned vehicles.
• Develop and execute hardware test plans.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and document results.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems teams.
• Stay current with autonomy and robotics trends.
• Maintain detailed engineering records.
