Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Rapid Integration Engineer to accelerate prototype development for unmanned systems. You will join the Test and Evaluation team to integrate hardware and software on UAS platforms, collaborating with cross-functional engineers to iteratively advance autonomous systems.

The role requires a engineering degree and 3+ years' experience with ArduPilot, rapid prototyping, and UAV testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with open source autopilot systems and ArduPilot stack.
• Travel willingness for project planning, testing, and execution.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, laser cutting, composites.
• Fundamentals of aerodynamics, flight performance, structures, electrical, GNC.
• Understanding of NAS and UAS operating regulations.
• Experience with small UAS/drone operation, testing, and development.
• Strong engineering knowledge across concepts and practical applications.
• Ability to learn quickly, coordinate work, and document thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, construction, and testing of UAS prototypes.
• Integrate hardware onto unmanned vehicles including sensors and control systems.
• Integrate electronics and ensure software–hardware communication.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers on prototyping.
• Perform feasibility studies, simulations, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality and reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues with effective solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and document processes and results.
