Springfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to serve as a housewide resource for recognizing and stabilizing patients with signs of clinical deterioration. The role responds to Rapid Response Team calls and supports patient throughput by assessing utilization of critical care beds and telemetry.
Requirements include a BSN, IL RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS, with CCN/PALS/NIH certs to be obtained within specified timelines.

Serves as a housewide resource to assist staff in the recognition and stabilization of patients with signs of clinical deterioration. Responds to Rapid Response Team calls during work shift. Assists with patient throughput by regularly assessing utilization of critical care and IMC beds, as well as telemetry and other resource-intensive clinical equipment/technology. Leads efforts to improve systems of care related to complex, unstable patients throughout the organization.
