The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and teamwork within a Level II trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required or obtain within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• NIH Stroke Scale proficiency or training preferred.
• (CCRN) Critical Care Registered Nurse or (CNRN) certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
