Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and an active FL DOH or Compact state license.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS credentials required.
• Minimum of five years as a professional RN with critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Responds to Rapid Response activations and clinical escalations across units.
• Performs comprehensive nursing assessment and initiates appropriate interventions.
• Triages rapidly deteriorating patients and coordinates transfers when needed.
• Communicates findings using SBAR with care teams and physicians.
• Mentors and educates staff on Rapid Response processes and escalation pathways.
• Maintains documentation and participates in performance improvement activities.
