Job summary

Antelope Valley Medical Center is seeking a Rapid Response Registered Nurse to respond to rapid response calls, provide expert critical care nursing, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team across the main hospital and WIP units.

The selected candidate will maintain patient safety, document care in the EMR, and report to the House Supervisor each shift while supporting CCU/PCU patients and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the United States.
• National Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) highly preferred.
• Level 5 Registered Nurse competency required or demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Rapid Response Team calls and provide expert patient care.
• Lead with interdisciplinary team for timely assessment and treatment.
• Document nursing care in the Electronic Medical Record per hospital policy.
• Report to the House Supervisor at the end of each shift.
• Assist with patient placement decisions and escalation to CCU/PCU when needed.
• Provide bedside nurse coverage for CCU and stability during procedures.
