Community Medical Centers in Clovis, CA, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Rapid Response to support high-acuity areas and lead stabilization for early, safe patient placement. You will collaborate with care teams, assist with transports, and mentor staff in evolving protocols.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient safety, and ongoing education, with a focus on rapid response in critical units within our large valley system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSE or IEP Certificate required.
• 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in ICU or ED.
• RN license to practice in California required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required within 180 days of hire/transfer.
• Within 180 days: CCRN or CEN or National Certification.

Responsibilities

• As a Crisis Response RN, support high-acuity areas to facilitate timely interventions, patient stabilization, and staff development.
• Respond to patients in clinical crisis and lead stabilization efforts until appropriate care placement is achieved.
• Collaborate with care teams to assess complex cases while guiding and coordinating clinical decision-making.
• Assist with monitored patient transports and escalation of care across critical units.
• Mentor and educate staff on evolving processes, protocols, and high-acuity patient management, serving as a resource for clinical best practice.
