Job summary

United Water Restoration Group is seeking a Field Technician to respond to leads, assess damage at properties, and act as the liaison between the client and branch management. The technician oversees extraction, drying, demolition and cleaning, following IICRC S500 standards of care.

Technicians are essential to our company, demonstrating care for customers and safeguarding health and safety. The role includes on-call duties, on-site work, and collaboration with a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field technician experience.
• Knowledge of the Water/Fire/Mold Restoration business preferred.
• Pass respirator use fitness; ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment as the top priority.
• Be pleasant, courteous and compassionate with customers at all times.
• Help coworkers perform to the best of their ability; we are a close-knit team.
• Respond rapidly to customer needs by scheduling meetings ASAP to assess damage.
• Provide the customer with a clear description of the remediation process and obtain a signed contract.
• Learn the process to help customers seek insurance approval for demolition.
• Apply containment methods to protect unaffected areas, residents, and pets from hazards.
