Job summary

SERVPRO of Stamford, serving the Fairfield County area, is seeking a Restoration Technician to join our field team in Norwalk, CT. This role focuses on cleaning, restoration, and general labor for fire and water damage projects.

You will load equipment, work with a crew, follow safety protocols, and help restore properties to pre-loss condition. We offer training, competitive pay, and opportunities for certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred; IICRC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
• Perform production processes, demolition and other labor intensive tasks.
• Perform fire and water damage restoration, extracting standing water, demolition, etc.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities.
• Set up staging area and placing equipment for each project.
• Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Communicate with restoration supervisor, other technicians, project manager, office and management personnel to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
• Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.

Skills
