Job summary

Ōnin Aerospace seeks a Rapid Response Structures Mechanic to assemble, install, seal, rig, and inspect aircraft structural components. You will read blueprints, perform precise drilling and riveting, and ensure all work meets stringent FAA-grade quality standards.

You’ll work with precision measuring tools and CNC fastening equipment in a fast-paced environment, supporting production schedules and continuously improving processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural aircraft assembly and inspection.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Perform precision drilling, riveting and fastening operations.
• Maintain FAA compliance with internal quality procedures.
• Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing and AOG environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, seal, rig, and inspect aircraft structural components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and drawings.
• Perform precision drilling, fastening, riveting, and assembly.
• Conduct functional testing and ensure fit, form, and function meet specs.
• Identify and document discrepancies while adhering to quality standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC fastening equipment.
• Perform structural inspections, pressure tests, and seal components as required.
• Support production schedules and mentor teammates.
