Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or commonly accepted.
• A&P license is highly desired and may be required in certain positions.
• Minimum 2 years of aviation structures experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand use and wear required PPE within assigned production area.
• Read and follow aircraft blueprint drawings and process specifications.
• Accurately use basic structure’s hand tools including drills, countersinks, rivet guns, torque wrenches, scales, and micrometers.
• Accurately perform layout of fastener locations by following blueprints and drawings.
• Install solid rivets, blind rivets, and various threaded fasteners using required tooling.
• Perform drilling operations accurately including fastener removal and reaming of holes to size.
• Operate required tooling, machinery, and equipment following safety rules.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Familiar with and ability to accurately use basic structure’s hand tools including drills, countersinks, rivet guns, torque wrenches, scales, and micrometers
• Ability to accurately perform layout of fastener locations by following blueprint and drawing requirements
• Ability to accurately install solid rivets, blind rivets, and various types of threaded fasteners using required tooling
• Ability to perform drilling operations accurately including fastener removal and reaming of fastener holes to correct size
• Operates required tooling, machinery, and equipment in a proficient manner following established safety rules.
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Degree, Certification and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of aviation structures experience preferred
• A&P and/or other related license highly desired and may be required in certain positions.

Required Skill and Knowledge:

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift, and routinely climb stairs / ladders.
• Ability to work for extended periods in a tight space and/or awkward position.
• Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
