Job summary

Zel Technologies seeks an Electrical Engineer Prototyping to join our on-site team at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The role focuses on rapid prototyping across computing, sensors, communications and programming to develop solutions.

You will work in an integrated team, apply digital filters, read schematics, and implement hardware/software solutions while maintaining documentation. Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering with 9+ years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance required or higher.
• Ability to read schematics and data sheets; experience with debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and as part of a rapid prototyping team.
• Design and apply digital filters for sensors and communications.
• Process, analyze and report test results to evaluate sensor/system effectiveness.
• Develop customized code to harvest and format data from multiple sources.
• Support division-wide multidisciplinary efforts on IT issues; perform other duties as assigned.
