Job summary

Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services seeks a field-based behavioral health navigator to assist individuals across age groups who need linkage and assessments. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner in Virginia.

• Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal records checks, drug test and CANIS report may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists individuals across age groups who did not meet criteria for active ongoing services and provides linkage to behavioral services.
• Triages and collaborates with community resources to ensure access to appropriate services for housing, education, risk assessment and prevention.
• Sessions may be delivered on-site in individual, group or family settings.

Requirements

M1: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, or other approved Human Services degree, or a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner in Virginia

M2: Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE

$44,825 - $77,617

5% Increase for Qualified Mental Health Professional
