Loews Miami Beach Hotel is seeking a warm and welcoming Host/Hostess to greet guests and manage reservations, seating, and flow for a seamless dining experience. You will coordinate with servers and managers to maintain guest satisfaction and deliver top-tier service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant hosting preferred.

  • Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel’s reservation system.
  • Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
  • Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate seating requests when possible.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding hours, menus, and reservations.
  • Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed.
  • Assist with guest recovery and resolve minor concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Follow all hotel policies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Regular and reliable attendance in conformance with company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
