Job summary

Vectrus, Inc seeks a Range Technician I to support Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions at Fort Riley, Kansas. The role performs basic technical tasks, replaces components, wires circuits, and uses standard test equipment under supervision.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to acquire a Government CAC (Common Access Card).
• Travel up to 50% as part of the role.
• Experience working with military units is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and prioritize tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Replace components, wire circuits, and repair simple electronic equipment following detailed instructions.
• Take test readings using common instruments (digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes).
• Work under close supervision with supervision or higher-level technician guidance; work checked frequently for accuracy.
