Job Summary: V2X has a requirement for a Range Technician, I on the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions (W-TRS) to support at the Digital Ranges Training Systems (DRTS) at Fort Stewart, GA. The Range Technician I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.

This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.

Responsibilities

Required Skills:

• Valid State Driver’s License and retain Post Driving Privileges.
• Must be able to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC).
• Travel up to 50%.

Physical Skills:

Education & Experience:

High School Graduate + 3 years Military Experience

Clearance Requirement:

NACI Background-day one

Ability to acquire Secret DOD clearance within 6 months of start date.
