Job summary

Dexis is seeking a Range Support Technician II to support a large-scale Army test and evaluation program. The role includes data collection, test scheduling, and administrative support for the government's mission, with activities across firing and automotive testing.

The position is onsite in Aberdeen, Maryland, with potential CONUS/OCONUS travel. Applicants must meet the listed qualifications and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance; strong planning and communication skills are

Qualifications

• Must have 60+ college credits and 1 year of Range Support Technician I experience, or 30+ credits and 2 years.
• Knowledge of government work processes, range areas, and facilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Schedule resources for firing systems, ammunition testing, range training, and non-firing needs.
• Prepare, review, and comment on project plans and docs.
• Gather information and perform literature searches.
• Integrate range safety and environmental policies into scheduling.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
• Attend scheduling meetings with government personnel.
• Coordinate requirements among range users including contractors.
• Analyze schedules for conflicts in resources and facilities.
• Negotiate trade-offs and obtain cooperation during scheduling.
• Develop recommendations to resolve scheduling problems.
