Job summary

Dexis seeks a Range Support Technician I to support a large-scale Army test and evaluation program, providing data collection, documentation, and range scheduling services. The role focuses on coordinating resources for firing systems, automotive and ordnance testing, and related operational support, primarily onsite in Aberdeen, MD with CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Qualifications

Experience with commercial data and word processing software (SQL Server, MS Access, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
High school diploma required.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Schedule physical and personnel resources for firing systems, ammunition testing, range training, and non-firing missions.
Assist in preparation, review, and commentary on plans and documents for projects.
Gather information and perform literature searches to support projects.
Integrate range safety and environmental policies into scheduling processes.
Schedule daily tests and related operations; produce daily/weekly/monthly schedules.
Attend scheduling meetings with senior government technical personnel to discuss scheduling and operations.
Apply established methods and techniques while coordinating with facilities, instrumentation, data, time, and operations.
