Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Range Safety Officer I at our Newington, NH facility to manage day-to-day range safety and operations, including range checks, firearm rentals, and ammo/targets stocking while enforcing SOPs for customers and staff.

The ideal candidate has firearm safety knowledge from LE/MIL or civilian training, some retail experience, and completion of the RSO 1 certification; teamwork is essential to support Sales and Events and report to the Range Master.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 0+ years experience.
• RSO 1 certification and related trainings required.
• Basic firearm safety understanding and ability to enforce safety with the public.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS system for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Enforce SOPs to prevent injury and/or range damage.
• Day-to-day range check-in, firearm rental, reservation management, waitlist management, product knowledge, and Armorer tasks relevant to certification.
• Assist with setup and teardown of indoor matches and leagues.
• May assist with small events and customer parties.
• Communicate safety issues and corrective actions to supervision.
• Suggest SOP improvements to Range Master.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement projects and sustain 5S Standards.
