Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Range Operations Technician in Cedar Creek, Texas. Responsibilities

Job description

• - Demonstrated competence and comfort handling firearms safely, including familiarity with the four rules of firearms safety and safe muzzle/weapon status discipline.
• - Physically fit and able to work outdoors year-round in Central Texas heat; lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly, dig, climb, and work extended days during test campaigns.
• - Practical hands‑on skills: vehicle and equipment operation, basic mechanical repair, fencing, welding or fabrication basics, and general property maintenance.
• - Valid Texas driver's license with a clean record and the ability to tow trailers; must be able to obtain a HAZMAT endorsement within 6 months.
• - Must pass a background check and not be a prohibited person under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g); able to work around energetic materials under ATF rules.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• - U.S. Army Combat Engineers (12B), particularly those with Sapper Leader Course training.
• - U.S. Navy Seabees (Construction Battalion personnel) with experience building and maintaining infrastructure in austere environments.
• - Military personnel trained in demolitions, explosives handling, breaching, ordnance safety, or range operations.
