Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Range Contractor Coordinator to support our government customer in Kekaha, Hawai'i. You will manage logistics for range activities, attend planning meetings, and coordinate with government and contractor teams to ensure successful execution.

The role requires coordinating schedules, preparing administrative documentation, and traveling as needed. A high school diploma plus military exercise coordination experience and a valid driver’s license are

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent plus two (+2) years’ experience coordinating or participating in military exercises.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of military and Government leadership and civilian organizations.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including extended/overnight shifts when required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain awareness of changes in range operation forecasts to identify requirements and scheduling conflicts.

Job description

Bering-Alaka'ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Range Contractor Coordinator to support our government customer in Kekaha, Hawai'i.

Manage logistics and operations for Range scheduled activities. Duties include but are not limited to attending operational planning meetings, real- time coordination with contractor, Government and program personnel. Coordinating and tracking follow-up activities on assigned Range operations. Assisting with Requests for Proposal (RFP) to provide Technical Instruction (TI) estimates to ensure labor and funding meets the requested tasking.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute contractor plans for scheduled range activities
  • Act as a liaison between contractors, government personnel and program teams
  • Keeps abreast of changes in PMRF Range Operations forecasts to identify future requirements and scheduling conflicts
  • Interfaces with Government counterparts and other Koa Lani elements to ensure mutual awareness of operational requirements
  • Attends and participates in briefings, planning conferences, and meetings to gather operational requirements for assigned programs
  • Prepares and distributes required administrative documentation to identify operational set-up for instrumentation and support systems and all data requirements for the assigned operation
  • Coordinates and documents real-time efforts of operational support personnel IAW the published documentation and technical direction from Government counterparts
  • Prepares and submits Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for assigned operations
  • Coordinates the distribution of data products gathered during assigned operations
  • Participates in post-operational critiques and reviews
  • Maintains working knowledge of operational support systems and facilities to coordinate detailed scheduling and support requirements
  • Cross-Training into ICC (Scheduling) is required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to travel interisland and out of state if required

Office conditions are varied and includes physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, crawling, kneeling, stooping or cramped working places and work requiring repeated or frequent climbing. Environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory environment.

DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
  • High school graduate or equivalent plus two (+2) years’ experience coordinating or participating in military exercises
  • Valid driver’s license
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Ability to interact with all levels of military and Government leadership and civilian organizations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with extended, overnight hours as needed
  • Knowledge of operational support systems and facilities to coordinate range schedules desired
  • Must possess the following PC skills: MICROSOFT OFFICE: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Windows
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Secret clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.)
