Job summary

You will participate in feeding, sanitation, equipment adjustments, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety. The position requires physical stamina, basic English communication, and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift and move 75 pounds.
• Preferably mechanical aptitude.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills (Basic English).
• Must possess or learn supervisory and leadership skills.
• Must be able to work as scheduled, including overtime, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to work at other ranches/complexes as needed.
• Must follow company standards, guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the ranch and its fryers (feeding, mortality removal, sanitation, etc.).
• Support grow-out program for optimal setup, temperatures, ventilation, mortality, vaccination, and medication.
• Coordinate feed deliveries and maintain feed/fuel inventories.
• Maintain facilities and equipment for optimal usage and appearance.
• Learn sanitation and disease-protection procedures.
• Maintain safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity awareness and report issues to the Ranch Manager or Field Supervisor.
