Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Ramp Supervisor to oversee loading and unloading of luggage, freight, and cargo on aircraft. You will supervise lead agents, mentor staff, and ensure safety regulations are followed in a fast-paced aviation logistics environment.

The role requires prior ramp or airline experience, a valid US driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 70 lbs, and willingness to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior ramp or airline experience is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lead agents; allocating ramp agent resources as needed.
• Move cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals, air cargo facilities, and other aircraft
• Ensure that ramp personnel adhere to established company safety regulations
• Perform as a mentor to other employees and provide training to new employees
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
• Operate motorized equipment
