Job summary

SkyChefs is seeking a Field Safety Supervisor in Phoenix to lead and enforce safety programs across ramp operations. You will coach frontline teams, conduct inspections, and drive a proactive safety culture to prevent incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years in safety or related fields, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This is an on-site, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

• 1–3 years of experience in safety, operations, aviation, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, warehousing, or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a positive safety culture across ramp and operational teams.
• Coach frontline staff on safe work practices and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits to prevent injuries and equipment damage.
• Facilitate safety meetings and training sessions.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and audits to identify root causes and solutions.
• Partner with local leaders to implement action plans improving safety performance.
• Monitor safety trends and use data to recommend improvements.
• Prepare teams for airline, OSHA, FAA, DOT, and internal audits.
• Build relationships with airline partners and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits.
