Job summary

Freeman Jet Center Waco is seeking a Line Service Shift Supervisor to lead daily ramp operations with a focus on safety, service, and operational excellence. You will supervise Line Service Technicians, coordinate with Customer Service, and own the shift’s decisions to ensure elite customer experiences.

This part-time role requires strong leadership in aviation, fueling and towing, plus the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include High School Diploma or GED; two+ years Line Service experience in an FBO/aviation environment; prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred; experience with aircraft fueling, towing, marshalling, and GSE; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; able to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead all ramp operations during the assigned shift.
• Serve as primary decision-maker for aircraft parking, fueling priorities, towing, and hangar positioning.
• Assign daily tasks to Line Service Technicians and ensure safe, efficient work distribution.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to maintain seamless communication between front desk and ramp.
• Oversee high-risk aircraft movements including towing and close-quarter parking.
• Monitor arrivals/departures and maintain safe ramp flow.
• Conduct shift briefings and turnover reports.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures follow Freeman Jet Center standards.
• Inspect Ground Support Equipment and fuel inventory for readiness.
• Maintain clean, organized, customer-ready facilities.
