Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC is seeking team members to support aircraft marshalling, weight & balance calculations, and ground handling on the ramp. You will coordinate with pilots, gate agents, and ground crew to ensure safe, on-time operations.

No prior experience is required as paid training is provided. This role offers full-time hours, benefits, and opportunities to advance within a growing aviation services company in Des Moines, IA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Marshall all arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Determine the fuel levels, weight and balance of the aircraft.
• Communicate information from and to pilots and ground team.
• Complete paperwork pertaining to procedures of flight departures, arrivals and update the computer system.
• Arrange fueling for the aircraft as needed.
• Perform duties of Agent - Ramp Services such as loading and unloading baggage and other material from aircraft.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
