Job summary

Unifi is seeking a Ramp Team Lead to supervise ramp agents and marshal aircraft in and out of gates. Responsibilities include loading/unloading baggage, de-icing as needed, and operating ramp equipment. May include cabin service duties and strict adherence to safety standards.

The role requires leading a team, maintaining compliance with regulations, and quick decision-making in a dynamic airport environment. Strong physical stamina and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required per airport/state/customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of agents in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp for all arrivals, departures, and towings.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect the aircraft wing from equipment.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, servicing vehicles.
• May perform cabin service duties such as servicing aircraft and restocking supplies.
• Monitor and enforce safe working conditions per regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Promote safety, anti-harassment, and equal employment opportunity.
• Complete work safely and report hazards or incidents promptly.
