Job summary

Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education in Scranton, PA is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Bartender positions to serve beverages in our campus bar area. Prior bartending experience and a RAMP certification are required.

Pay ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour with flexible weekend schedules and benefits discussed at interview. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth, training, and career advancement within Compass Group USA’s campus dining teams.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience and a RAMP (Responsible Alcohol Management Program) certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to liquor regulations and verifies identification.
• Sets up bars, stocks beverages, garnishes, glassware and condiments.
• Greets guests and processes drink orders with accuracy.
• Mixes and presents drinks following standard recipes and portion control.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Receives and records payments, ensures proper cash handling.
• Demonstrates responsible service of alcohol and safe guest interactions.
