Job summary

GAT Airline Ground Support in San Diego, CA, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our aviation team in cargo handling and ramp operations.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading air cargo, palletizing, documenting cargo, and ensuring safety and SOP compliance. Candidates must meet physical requirements, have a HS diploma or GED, and be 18+ with a valid driver's license. Training and certifications will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow cargo documents and forms.
• Requires basic computer literacy and ability to operate common office equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be 18 years or older.
• Ability to navigate electronic devices and comply with SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload air cargo on and off aircraft, carts, containers, and trucks.
• Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft; perform ramp transfers and weighing.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Complete cargo documents and forms accurately for airline requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods regulations and company SOPs.
• Pick up and deliver cargo as indicated; perform other duties as assigned.
