Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is hiring a Ramp Agent for the AM shift in South Bend. This part-time role involves loading and unloading freight, ensuring cargo safety, and moving passengers and cargo efficiently.

You will work on accepting and delivering shipments with proper documentation and security procedures. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), be able to obtain an airport badge, and demonstrate strong English reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass background and drug-free workplace requirements to obtain airport badge.
• Must read, write and understand English, and be able to direct verbally in English.
• A Real ID or valid Passport is required.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads freight safely, builds and breaks down cargo pallets/containers.
• Operates equipment safely and maintains required certifications.
• Verifies shipment pieces, weights, dimensions and airway bills upon receipt and delivery.
