Job summary

StaffedUp is hiring for a Busser at JINYA Ramen Bar in Nashville. You will support servers and front-of-house teammates, clear and reset tables, and help deliver food and beverages. This fast-paced restaurant requires excellent guest service, teamwork, and a proactive, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean dining areas, upselling within guidelines, and following JINYA hospitality standards. Weekend/holiday availability is often needed as part of a dynamic service crew.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Strong guest service presence and communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support servers and front-of-house with guest service needs.
• Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain flow.
• Deliver food/beverages and refill water.
• Maintain clean, presentable dining areas.
• Polish and organize dishware for service readiness.
• Assist with opening/closing side work.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate clearly with guests and staff.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and upsell where appropriate.
• Understand restaurant operations including reservations and hours.
• Greet guests and assist seating/waitlists.
• Refill beverages and support service tasks.
• Follow JINYA steps of service and hospitality standards.
• Notify management of major issues.
• Participate in cultural greetings Irasshai/Arigato.
• Promote Teamwork, Hospitality, Authenticity, Creativity, Integrity.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
