Job summary

HORIBA Industrial Process & Environmental is seeking an Engineer I to support Raman analytical systems, install and service them in‑house and at customer sites in Salt Lake City, UT. The role collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service teams and may involve travel.

Applicant should have a technical engineering background, experience with electronics repair, and basic programming (MATLAB). Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering) or equivalent.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics to component level with test equipment.
• Familiarity with analyzers used in refineries or chemical plants; operation, calibration, repair, faults.
• Basic programming knowledge and MATLAB.
• Experience with AutoCAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, testing, manufacturing, and servicing of Raman analytical systems.
• Install, validate, and trouble‑shoot systems in‑house and at customer sites.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service teams to support product lifecycle.
