Job summary

KB Signaling in Rochester, NY is seeking a RAM Engineer to perform RAM activities across project lifecycles using industry-standard tools. You will define RAM strategies, manage deliverables such as RAM Program Plans, RAM reports, and Demonstration Test Plans, and analyze data with FRACAS methods to support reliable railway systems.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering and RAM experience, familiar with EN-50126 and reliability modeling, with strong writing and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RAM activities for projects across lifecycles.
• Define RAM approach and strategy for assigned projects.
• Deliver RAM documents: RAM Program Plan, RAM report/analysis, Demonstration Plans & Procedures, RAM Monitoring plans, RAM Monitoring reports.
• Perform core RAM activities: MTBF/MTTR etc., FMEA, RAM modeling.
• Data collection from field/repair sites; root cause analysis; RAM classification; statistical RAM growth; FRACAS actions.
• Recommend design changes based on RAM studies and verify targets.
