Job summary

Ralph Lauren Corporation seeks an Associate, Inventory Handling to ensure accuracy of inventory across the distribution center by researching PO discrepancies, adjusting inventory, analyzing system reports, generating summary reports and other related tasks.

You will be the primary contact for all inventory inquiries, work with DC functions, and help maintain accuracy and efficiency while supporting safety and continuous process improvements across daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Inventory Control activities including Cycle Counting, variance resolution, support shortage resolution, identifying and resolving process/team/individual accuracy issues.
• Conduct process audits including Outbound Carton Audits, Chute Audits, Cycle Count Audits, Put away Audits, Receiving and Outbound Audits.
• Observe safety and security procedures; report unsafe conditions/acts; operate power equipment safely.
• Train associates, including those who are cross-trained and new associates.
• Work with leadership on improving process flow and reporting.
• Maintain understanding of operations and willingness to be cross-trained in all areas of the DC.
• Assist in other departmental responsibilities as needed.
• Essential duties are subject to change to keep up with new or expanding business models.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the inventory throughout the facility by means of researching PO discrepancies, adjusting inventory, analyzing system reports, generating summary reports, and other tactics. This position serves as the primary contact for all inventory inquiries. This position will work within the different functions of the Distribution Center and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the processes throughout the facility. Efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of processing are a requirement for this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

AsanAssociate, Inventory Handling responsibilitiesandtypical activities willinclude,but arenot limited to the following:

• Observe safety and security procedural adherence: report unsafe condition/ acts, also operates power equipment safely.
• The job encounters recurring work situations of a routine nature where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
• Train individual team members, including associates who are being cross trained and new associates.
• Work with leadership on improving process flow and reporting.
• Maintain understanding of operations and willingness to be cross trained in all areas of the DC.
• Assist in other departmental responsibilities as needed.
• Essential duties are subject to change in order to keep up with new or expanding business models.
