Job summary

Thomas Young Group, a growing MEP consultancy, is expanding its Raleigh office and seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead delivery on mission critical and data center projects. You’ll own scopes, schedules, budgets and build strong client relationships.

Join a team that designs, coordinates and delivers complex MEP systems from design through closeout, while mentoring junior engineers and helping shape the Raleigh operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering or project management experience.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and project delivery.
• Experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Mission critical or data center experience is preferred.
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
• PMP or PE certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP projects across the mission critical and data center market.
• Take ownership of project scope, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and plumbing design teams.
• Lead projects from design through construction and closeout.
• Manage project deliverables and client expectations.
• Review designs, RFIs, submittals and construction documentation.
• Identify project risks and resolve issues throughout delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Maintain quality across multiple projects.
• Support proposals and new business opportunities.
• Help develop project teams as the Raleigh office grows.
