Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering leader to guide land development projects in Raleigh, NC. You will drive growth, mentor staff, and manage client relationships while steering multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality site development designs.

The role emphasizes business development, strategic planning, and coordination with authorities having jurisdiction to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or related engineering degree.
Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in North Carolina.
15+ years of professional engineering design and project management experience.
Strong client relationships and ability to grow client base.
Excellent financial management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead an engineering team with mentoring and strategic growth of the department.
Drive business development and coordinate with the corporate business development manager.
Ensure client satisfaction through clear communication and designs meeting budget and time goals.
Oversee proposals, contract management, scheduling, budgets, and monthly invoicing.
Coordinate with staff, clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and sub-consultants on project development.
Guide QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
