Job summary

Novolex, based in Raleigh, NC, seeks an HR Generalist to support HR practices for Converting Operations. You’ll work with the HR Manager to align workforce strategies with business goals and report to the Raleigh facility HR Manager.

You’ll handle recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, policy interpretation, and HRIS maintenance while resolving employee concerns and ensuring compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
• 3+ years HRIS or HR support in manufacturing/warehouse.
• Proficient with HRIS systems and MS Office (Workday, UKG, ICIMs).
• Ability to analyze issues and resolve sensitive problems.
• Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team-based environment; provide excellent customer service to team members and managers.
• Maintain HRIS database and personal files; ensure record compliance and follow up with managers or team members.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Support benefits administration; lead open enrollment and wellness activities.
• Address workforce concerns and facilitate issue resolution.
• Support recruitment, talent, leadership development, retention, engagement, performance and talent management.
• Manage administration of FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA with the leave manager North America Packaging.
• Oversee end-to-end hourly and salary recruiting with Talent Acquisition.
• Lead onboarding/exiting processes including orientation and retention programs.
• Manage payroll administration processes for accurate timely payrolls.
• Conduct investigations; escalate issues and advise on resolutions.
• Communicate changes in HR policies/benefits.
• Maintain HR department systems and tools.
• Perform other related duties and projects; lead administrative & compliance HR functions.
