CNA Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Follow personalized care schedules outlined by supervisors
- Offer emotional and social support to residents
- Support the dining experience, including potential meal assistance
- Assist with laundry and housekeeping needs as required
- Document care and daily activities per facility guidelines
- Communicate resident concerns or changes to supervisor
- Promote resident independence, dignity, and confidentiality
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
- Maintain safety practices and proper equipment use
- Uphold a professional, respectful demeanor with all residents, families, and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of North Carolina
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility
- Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English
- Previous experience with memory care residents is a plus
