Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Day Rigging/Mechanical Project Manager to lead client development and deliver large, day-work projects around Raleigh, NC. Local candidates preferred.

The role requires industrial project leadership, estimating and planning experience, safety compliance, and close collaboration with clients and supervision; travel to jobsites is expected.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in manufacturing/power/chemical markets managing complex projects up to $1M.
• 10–15 years client relationship and business development, bid development track record.
• Proven leadership, risk management, and process discipline.
• Strategic thinker who builds plans and relationships.
• Knowledge of safety and OSHA regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and oversees site projects with client and supervision.
• Manages all cost aspects: estimating, budgeting, forecasting, reporting.
• Uses scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts for scope changes and milestones.
• Develops relationships to identify opportunities.
• Plans and schedules resources to meet project demands.
• Ensures compliance with codes and policies; reviews drawings and calculations.
• Monitors SIC safety program and champions Safety First.
• Provides regular updates to Senior Management.
• Travels to jobsites to oversee projects.
