Job summary

IDR, Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks a Clinical Informaticist for a long-term opportunity. This clinical-data role sits inside a health IT shop, translating between clinical and technical teams, validating data, and supporting DAV/PSV certification and the dQM engine.

This is not a bedside or pure development role. Candidates must have an active clinical license and 3+ years in clinical informatics, with hands-on experience in SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT, RxNorm, and quality measures (HEDIS/eCQMs).

Qualifications

• Active clinical license and at least 3 years of experience in clinical informatics, HIE, or health IT.
• Experience with clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT, and RxNorm for mapping and validation.
• Familiarity with quality measurement — HEDIS, eCQMs, and digital quality measures, aligning data to measure specs.
• Knowledge of interoperability standards and HIE experience (HL7 v2, CDA/C-CDA, FHIR; NC HealthConnex is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Translate between clinical and technical teams to validate data and support certification processes.
• Resolve data quality issues and test new health IT features.
• Assist with validation activities like DAV and PSV and help stand up the digital quality measurement (dQM) engine.
