Job summary

ConGlobal Industries LLC in Louisville, KY is hiring a Railyard Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the railyard terminal, focusing on safety, performance, and productivity. You will coordinate and prepare railcars for loading and unloading, verify train numbers, and oversee ramp crew movements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in railyard or similar.
• Strong safety record with documented observations.
• Ability to manage 10–20 employees across shifts.
• Proven track record in improving LPH performance.
• Must pass pre-employment background, drug screen.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily railyard operations safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate and prepare railcars for loading/unloading.
• Verify inbound and outbound train numbers for accuracy.
• Direct ramp crew movements to maintain schedule.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Coach staff on safety and enforce regulations.
• Manage staff scheduling and shift coverage.
• Maintain cross-team communication for alignment.
• Complete reporting, documentation, and training tasks.
