Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Testing & Commissioning Engineer to support the integration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of railway signaling systems. The role covers end‑to‑end T&C activities, documentation, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to meet project milestones.

The candidate will perform field testing, ensure compliance with safety standards, and address issues with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical degree with equivalent experience.
• Experience with T&C or V&V activities for railway signaling projects preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Willingness to work in the field, including night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute T&C activities for railway signaling subsystems and handover.
• Perform testing to ensure procedures are followed.
• Develop and support T&C procedures for safe integration.
• Record installation documentation and field changes accurately.
• Troubleshoot signaling systems to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Installation, V&V, Safety, and Project teams.
• Support planning, safety briefings, and post-work debriefings.
• Escalate safety or project issues to meet QCD objectives.
