Qualifications

  • Physically and psychologically fit; pass background checks.
  • Pass required company training.
  • Knowledge of railroad operations and emergency handling.
  • Ability to lead teams under stress.
  • Meet government/training retention standards.
  • Live within 50 miles of the location.
  • 18 months of peace officer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Protect assets and resources entrusted to the company.
  • Conduct investigations and provide detailed reports.
  • Identify and handle trespassers; make arrests as needed.
  • Counsel officials to reduce crime and respond to emergencies.
  • Perform proactive patrols of facilities and trains.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
