Job summary

Tsay Professional Services Inc. seeks a Railroad Maintenance Worker to install, maintain, and repair track, bridges, culverts, and related infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on track work, vehicle operation on a federal installation, and adherence to safety standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years of railroad maintenance experience, UFC 4-860-03 certification, and a valid Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of related railroad maintenance experience.
• Must hold UFC 4-860-03 certification and a valid Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement.
• Must be able to obtain/retain a Military gate pass and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, unload, load, distribute, pick-up, install cross ties, switch ties, other track material and ballast.
• Inspect, unload, distribute, load, pick-up, install, grind, and transpose rail.
• Inspect, load, unload, distribute, pick-up, remove, construct, maintain and repair turnouts.
• Inspect, patrol, construct, install, retire, remove, surface, gauge, line and shift track.
• Inspect, protect, flag, construct, install, maintain, and repair road crossings.
• Inspect, protect, flag, construct, install, maintain, repair, paint, renew and replace bridges.
• Inspect, protect, flag, maintain, repair and construct culverts and tunnels.
• Inspect, test, maintain, repair, construct and install scales.
• Inspect, remove, maintain, repair, construct, and install right of way, sand and snow fences.
• Remove snow or other foreign materials from track infrastructure. Clean debris from switches.
• Will be required to do SNAIR operations.
• May need to assist in other sections of the R&G Department.
• Employees are required to drive company vehicles on a Federal Installation.
• All other duties as assigned by supervision.
