Job summary

You will lead safety programs, coordinate with railroad personnel, and ensure adherence to federal regulations while managing long deployments. The CIC role requires strong organization, communication, and field leadership skills, with travel commitments ranging from 50% to 85% and a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years' railroad experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel long-term (50–85%).

Responsibilities

• Oversee worksite safety and provide flagging as needed.
• Conduct job briefings and ensure FRA 49 CFR 214 compliance.
• Monitor track conditions and coordinate with dispatchers and engineers.
• Document activities, incident reports, and daily logs for management and regulators.
• Enforce railroad, state, and federal policies.
